“Art teaches something we all need to learn, especially about people who are different from ourselves: "To see things the way they truly are, sometimes you have to look more deeply.”

“We is all homeless just workin’ our way home.” Denver Moore
Life is naturally hectic for most people. Work, family, and activities consume our days and the years slip by us, almost unnoticed. Sometimes it takes a drastic event to make us face our mortality, and in turn our eternity. The death of a loved one, a natural disaster, a pandemic.
In those moments, when the brevity of our lives cannot be ignored and the knowledge that eternity is just a breath away, we have clarity about the things in our lives that matter the most. The people we love and the lives we have built together become even dearer. But what also becomes clear, is that this temporary home we are blessed with is just a stop on the way to our eternal home.
If we looked about us in our daily walk and chose to see those around us as fellow sojourners to our heavenly home, would that change the way we saw each other? The way we treat each other? Perhaps in this moment of clarity, prejudices would fall way, resentment would dissolve, and indifference would give way to compassion.
I have been truly blessed by Ron & Debbie Hall’s legacy of compassion for their fellow sojourner and for Denver Moore’s God-given wisdom to enlighten our journey. I hope that you join us for this life-changing event and pray that God will give you the Eyes to See the hurting and precious souls in your journey to your heavenly home.
